For the operation of a pavement café in Vienna on public property
- In addition to the use tax permit in accordance with the Use Tax Act
- either a notification of the restaurant garden operation in accordance with § 76a GewO or an operating permit for the restaurant garden operation is required.
We recommend close coordination with the responsible authority as early as the planning stage of the pavement café in order to avoid unnecessary planning costs.
